A little about me

I’m a designer with a wealth of experience who’s always looking for the next challenge

During the 28 years that I’ve been in advertising, I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside some of the best talent in the world.

I enjoy working with creatives, but I’ve never claimed to be one. Design, that’s my thing. And I love it in all forms, from more traditional, conceptual design to emerging platforms.

I’ve worked with clients both large and small, helping to win pitches and build brands.

At Publicis London I set up the design table and ran it for many years.

I introduced InDesign to the Publicis Groupe and created a Dropzone that’s still in use today.

Sharing my knowledge and experience is something I enjoy, particularly with the younger people of our industry. At Publicis I was responsible for the work placement scheme and also set up and ran art exhibitions and music events.

I regularly visit art and design exhibitions, inspiring the people around me with what I’ve seen and learnt. It’s my belief that, when you have a passion for something, you also have a duty to pass it on.

I’ve Judged on Creative Circle and Creativepool.

The buzz of a busy studio or agency is something I thrive on. (or working from home, Thanks Covid)

I love the quick starts, the pitches and even the odd late nights.

Outside of work I’ve built cars. I’ve even built my own house. All design problems to be solved.

I’m a Widow Hunter and Killer Kerner that still believes in magic over formulas.

I love what I do.
